I have a problem on my fedora 6 system. Installed on this systems are apache, mysql and php. When I came back to my office this morning. I've tried to run a query on my database and did not give me a result. So, I went to the server and checked apache, mysql services if they started. When I implied commands ps, it gave me an error saying "/sbin/ps: input/output error". I've tried other commands like cp, shutdown it gave me the same error. It has plenty of disk space, I checked it two days ago before the system was crushed.

Is there any other way how I will save the data from disk? Thanks...

Have you tried simply rebooting, using the power switch, or even the power plug if need be?

If that fails, you might try booting from a live CD (Knoppix, DSL, Slax, a live CD installer, etc). If even that fails, you might have a serious hardware problem. That does not necessarily mean anything is wrong with your hard drive. -- although it could be.
