Building a forum site like this?
 
What does it take to build a forum website like this one? I have an apache webserver running and was curious if there's a whole lot involved. Thanks.

There isn't really that much to it. PHPBB is all you need, and it isn't very difficult at all if you have some knowledge of the web basics. PHPBB will give you a forum similar to this one with all the search, user accounts, log in, email alerts,.... Basically everything you need right off the bat. Download it (its free), READ THE DOCS, install it, edit a config file or 2, install whatever PHPBB theme you like, and you're all set.

Great! That worked fantastic. Easier than I imagined. Got mysql setup using webmin and then used the nice graphical install. SWEET!!!
