bttv tvcard support

Hello!

I have a serious problem that has been killing me all these days...

I've bought a tvcard "Pixelview PlayTV Pro (with FM)" and now, i have serious problems to scan cable channels. I'm in Portugal, so I use PAL-B to see TV. But my problem is that i can't find the correct bttv card model and tuner model to put my tvcard working. I've tried all related card in bttv CARDLIST, with all tuner type. i've tried card 37, 50, 70 and 72, with all PAL tuner, and nothing worked. In my User's Manual that camein the box, it says that model is PV-BT878P+W/FM, one thing that can help too, is that TV System that is described in my box: "PAL/SECAM BG" and "PAL/SECAM DK". I'm begging you, that you can help me detecting my card and tuner, otherwise i'm forced to buy another tvcard, because i think that this card model isn't supported by bttv driver. Any other info that YOU need, you can ask that i'll answer you.

i'll be waiting :)

Thank you in advance.

that's quite a common card AFAIK, does it not work without forcing a card type? can you not just find the channels manually, ir is that also impossible?

It's not so simple. In that "mini-HowTo" it probes a NTSC system, here we use a PAL tvsystem. Like as I said, in the tvcard box, it says TV SYSTEM: "PAL/SECAM BG" and "PAL/SECAM DK". So i've modprobed tuner type=5 and didn't resolved nothing. Probing module bttv without any option isn't eider a good option. So, it's not a COMMON tvcard...there are many models and many card and tuner types related to this card. I think i have here a very difficult problem, but thanks for trying to help me anyway ;)

EDIT: I didn't see this "Tuner: Philips NTSC (even if your local system is PAL!) FI1236, FM1236 and compatibles." but even using type=2 didn't worked.
