I am curious on how to go about for finding a program to fix a bootvirus. I am running SuSE Linux 7.1 Any suggestions..

What kind of bootvirus? Is it in your boot sector or the MBR or what? A low level format always does the trick!

D/L an AV product for Linux & scan to determine the viruses name. Then look it up in the virus databases for clues: vil.mcafee.com, www.avp.ch/avpve/ or www.datafellows.com/vir-info/

I have tested & can recommend Mcafee's Uvscan AVP or RAV.

BIG WARNING SIGN!!!
This can totally destroy your hard disk. This is an absolute last resort.
