Puppy makes Ubuntu boot.

Indeed. There are times when Ubuntu won't connect (usually after both my computers are off yet the 2 neighbors, 1 of whom is a W.O.W. junkie is online almost non-stop.
When Ubuntu doesn't connect. I just reboot it with the latest 4.1.2 Puppy linux CD, go through the connections procedures on Puppy and the connection works. The little connection light on my router lights up. I reboot to Ubuntu with and it still works.
The last posts by me is as specific as I can tell you about my Ubuntu connection/profile unless you need to know more details.
