Booting Problem


Dear Sir,
I am a bit new to linux , i have successfully installed Linux 9.0 , now it starts
using GRUB , well i want to boot my machine in command mode with network option or in level 3 , when the GRUB screen appears i do press e but then i am not been able to edit the Kernel line for booting in level
3.

AFAIK grub doesn't have to do anything with it

do the following in the /etc/inittab file


change

id:5:initdefault:

to

id:3:initdefault:
