Boot Error

Yeah. I've been using Ubuntu on my desk CPU for a while with XP. I finally got around to building a computer for my room. I set the default boot place to CDROM drive, so it will boot off the Live CD, and booted it successfully. Then, I installed it on the HDD, but I can't get it to boot off of the hard drive, when I unplug the CD drive it gives me GRUB error. I have not the faintest idea how to change boot priority.
