blackberry tethering Question


How to i get a blackberry to work with tethering in linux as blackberry as my modem?

Are you talking about tethering over USB or Bluetooth?

Using Bluetooth should work out of the box with modern Bluetooth tools like Blueman.

USB looks like it might be a little harder, but there are tools for that as well such as berry4all.

I got blueman install but how do you run it from the command line and how do i install berry4all?

Blueman is a GTK application, you can't run it from the command line. berry4all is a Python program, and has detailed installation instructions under the Download section on the site.

What exactly are you trying to do? If this has to be done on the command line only, it will change how you need to proceed.

Just try to find way to get my blackberry to use as a modem before i thinking about buy one or i was going with android.
