best font on high definition screen

I would like to know if there is a recommended font used for on high definition screen.
Ubuntu default font is not so sharp

Are you actually having trouble reading the font or is this more a question of aesthetics? In any case, I would recommend giving Liberation Mono or Liberation Sans a try. I don't have an HD monitor but the letters look pretty solid. It's a good "terminal font" if you know what I mean. That or Bitstream Vera Sans Mono.

The Terminus fonts are quite popular too.
