best filesystem for fileserver

Hi, I have to install a fileserver so I have to choice the best filesystem. I think there are only 2 candidate: XFS or Reiser.
Both are good for kind of files I have to storage. What I need is security of those data stored.
Then what's the most stable of these fs ?
thx

ReiserFS is commonly used as a stable filesystem, although I don't know much about XFS myself.

If you are looking to improve the reliability of your storage, then you should be looking at setting up a software or hardware RAID array; this will have a much bigger impact than the filesystem you choose. And you will need a good backup solution.

Just my 2 cents here. I used to have ext3 on all my servers. I've recently switched them all to reiserfs and the speed improvement is noticable. Reiserfs handles small files, such as static html files, up to 15x faster then ext3.
