I've just listened to the podcast (and read the accompanying article) with Mark Shuttleworth (of Ubuntu fame). They seemed quite positive

I was so pleased. They were really going on about Ubuntu, although some of the other distros got a mention. What I was most chuffed about was that I was listening to the episode, having downloaded it to my PC using CastPodder and then transferred it to my Creative Zen with Gnomad2 - all done in Ubuntu of course

Yeah, I felt a little bit dirty listening to that: at work I have to use Windows XP. However, I had downloaded it using firefox portable running from my USB stick because I'm running as a non-priviledged user, and therefore can't install firefox locally. That made up for the whole Windows XP thing a bit
