bash question

i hope this is in the right location, but my problem is this: when i open a terminal i get this before the prompt, as well as every time i move around using the command line.....
-bash: /home/belial/.rvm/scripts/rvm: No such file or directory

how can i fix it?

There's something in your shells resource files referencing ~/.rvm/bin/rvm. Do you, or did you, have Ruby RVM installed?

yes, i was trying to remove it from that particular partition. basically i split off a small chunk of hard drive space for a development environment so i could keep the larger partition for everyday computing. i felt it would present less risk to our personal pictures, music, files, etc. this is what i did: "rvm implode" .....and based on the output there were four files that it said to remove the rvm path from or comment them out. i attempted the latter, using VIM, but it seems as though somehow i erased the entire file. and ever since then i've been getting: -bash: /home/belial/.rvm/scripts/rvm: No such file or directory...whether i just open the terminal, and every time i do anything in the terminal.

Have a look in /etc/profile (and/or /etc/profile.d), /etc/bashrc and your local .bashrc & .bash_profile.
