Angry Bad:monitoring performance parameters in 1000+ linux desktops &time synchronising

hi everyone i require your help.
i am looking for a solution where we can monitor linux desktops performance using sublime (SB LIM) which monitors parameters like ps ,vmstat ,iostat and LVM etc.
the problem is of monitoring these parameters in 1000 linux desktops and synchronise the time sereies data.
so that when i get the report the report should have results from all the desktops at same point of time the reporst can be collated from all the desktops and brought to centeral repository using CIM& CIMOM architecture.
The problem is mainly because while monitoring various system parameters we also have to monitor threads and especially short lived threads so if i write a script which could run on each desktop executing all the monitoring commands to be executed in serial fashion and execution starting at time t1 where all machines are maintained at same time using NTP. I still wont have control on execution time of each command on individual desktop.
as solution i think of introducing a delay or wait time between two susequent command executions.
In such case my wait time should not be more than average life time of short lived threads otherwise these threads would go unmonitored.

a similar kind of monitoring is done by HP open Views Measure Ware and glance tool is there an open source approach to this if yes how do i proceed. i really need this advice urgently.
please forward your suggestion to shrikeiaf@yahoo.com
