Automatically put all users into a group?

In order to make the ThinkPad button program (tpb) work correctly, I need to add users to the group nvram. Is there a way to make the group nvram automatically include all the members of the group "users", so that whenever I add a new account, I automatically add a member to the nvram group in addition to the "users" group?

I've searched for an answer to this, but haven't found anything, but it seems like the kind of thing that Linux would support. Thanks for any information.

How do you add users? If you add them from the command line, just add them to the group. More details in how you add users to your system would be helpful though.

I'm using Ubuntu Breezy. I add users with the Gnome GUI tool; then, after adding a user with the GUI tool and adjusting any settings, I go to the terminal and enter

sudo adduser newusername nvram

I could also do this from the GUI tool, of course, simply by adding the user to nvram in the GUI, but it would be nice to be able to skip that step altogether.

However, the more I look at this, the more I think I can live with the existing situation very happily...!
