Question Automatic Nightly reboot

I have a problem with my linux box that it freezes if left on for a could days so i have just been rebooting it every night or 2 and have no problems. I have been unable to fix the freezing problem but since a reboot makes everything fine again is there anyway to schedule the machine to reboot everyday at say 3am?

Thanks in advance!

assuming you've got cron running, just add an entry to /etc/crontab, or root's personal crontab if you'd rather.

for /etc/crontab
00 3 * * * root /sbin/shutdown -r

for user crontab (crontab -e)
oo 3 * * * /sbin/shutdown -r
