Hi there

I'm running KDE Desktop on Slackware Linux 10.2 Everytime I work with any text file, it automatically creates backup of that text file. How can I disable that feature

Please show me the right direction.

I presume you mean Kate, or any apps which use Kate as its embedded editor?

Settings -> Configure Kate -> Open/Save -> Backup on Save
