authenticate using LDAP to login + gconfd
 

hi there

can anyone direct me to some link where i can find info to configure my system so that it authenticates using LDAP also apart from local authentication

also any useful link on using configuring gconfd

i am googling for LDAP too

is there any tool like authconfig for mandrake as we have in redhat/fedora

ok guys

the above problome has been solved i used the tool for fedora core2 here "authconfig"

also now a new problem is up

the users at LDAP cannot his/her home directories

i have checked the perimision for /home also
