ata2 slow respond at boot

Hi,
I got a long start up sequence (around 2 min) at boot.
I dig into the log file and got the follow:
....
<4>ata2: port is slow to respond, please be patient (Status 0xff)
<3>ata2: port failed to respond (30 secs, Status 0xff)
<3>ata2: SRST failed (status 0xFF)
<3>ata2: SRST failed (err_mask=0x100)
<4>ata2: softreset failed, retrying in 5 secs
<3>ata2: SRST failed (status 0xFF)
<3>ata2: SRST failed (err_mask=0x100)
<4>ata2: softreset failed, retrying in 5 secs
<3>ata2: SRST failed (status 0xFF)
<3>ata2: SRST failed (err_mask=0x100)
<3>ata2: reset failed, giving up
....
in this way the system blow up around 1 min checking for something I cannot understand.
The system afterward boot perfectly without any single problem.
Is there a way to disable this check? Is some bugs in the code?

Thanks for the help

ata2: SRST failed (err_mask=0x100)
ata2: softreset failed, retrying in 5 secs
ata2: SRST failed (status 0xFF)
ata2: SRST failed (err_mask=0x100)
ata2: reset failed, giving up

Another interesting thing is that is started after a kernel upgrade (only I no longer remember between which versions). I upgraded to FC6 since but the problem remained.
