Are there any small hackable device on which I can install PFSense?

I would like to have a device on which I can install PFSense that has at least three Ethernet ports (one for internal, second for external, and third for dmz). I need something compact and small so the idea of using one of my desktop computers doesn't really appeal to me.

Can anyone think of any small device that is cheap and easily hackable which contains at least three Ethernet ports?

Have you tried looking at routers? Linksys WRT54g has all of the above + wireless

Can you really logically separate 1 of the physical LAN ports to be the DMZ? -- I thought they were tied together by an internal switch.

I.e., doesn't it have only 2 wired NIC's?
