Are there any linux distros with cde, or any way to install cde?

I use ubuntu now, I had too much troubles with the solaris x86 install, is there anyway to install cde on linux or any distros that come with it?

What are these troubles ? You can post them to the Solaris forum, and I would be glad to help you installing Solaris on x86.

Why do you want to install and use CDE ?
It's getting old and is is lacking many features one would expect from a modern window manager.

look at xfce. http://www.xfce.org/ it is probably the closest thing you'll get to CDE for linux.

It may be possible to customize a Linux desktop to look like CDE as people have done so with xp, osx, etc.
