Applications crashing in KDE 3.2.2 (Knoppix 3.4/Kernel version 2.6.6)

Hi, I just installed Knoppix 3.4 and I'm having problems with almost every application in KDE 3.2.2.

Every time I try to run an application, it crashes almost immediately -says it causes the signal 11 (SIGSEGV). It gives me the following information under the "backtrace" tab:

Code:
This backtrace appears to be useless.
This is probably because your packages are built in a way which prevents creating of proper backtraces, or the stack frame was seriously corrupted in the crash.
