Apache DirectoryIndex problem

Hello All,

I have recently upgraded to 1.3.26 using Apache toolbox to do this. It is compiled with the following modules
Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) PHP/4.2.1 mod_auth_pam/1.0a mod_fastcgi/2.2.12 mod_throttle/3.1.2 mod_perl/1.27 mod_ssl/2.8.9 OpenSSL/0.9.6b configured -- resuming normal operations

My DocumentRoot path is /home/httpd/html/

I am showing this option in my httpd.conf file

<Directory "/home/httpd/html">
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
AllowOverride All
Order allow,deny
Allow from all
</Directory>

I have this set for my DirectoryIndex

# DirectoryIndex: Name of the file or files to use as a pre-written HTML
# directory index. Separate multiple entries with spaces.
#
<IfModule mod_dir.c>
DirectoryIndex index.php index.html index.htm index.shtml index.cgi home.htm home.html
</IfModule>

The trouble is that when opening my page i am just getting a directory listing instead of actual page. I see my index.html file as one of the files but that's it. if i do a http://192.168.0.2/index.html than i get my page..

What am i missing ???. I am at a point where i feel i have to remove & do it all again.. This is the first time i have had this problem

Any thoughts always appreciated

Thanks

Andrew

Hi
Remove the "Indexes" from your options.

It will fix your problem
