Hello everyone.

I recently installed a new Debian server that's supposed to be a web/mail server.

One of my clients has now introduced a new request - having secure forms.

I tried installing mod-ssl by using apt-get install libapache-mod-ssl and everyhting went smoothly.

The only problem is - the server does not seem to react to https requests. I would like to add that the forms are in PHP (don't know if that makeds any difference)

I followed several howto's and I think I went through the httpd.conf file as needed.

Can anyone share his/her experience with insalling mod-ssl on an existing apache installation? can it be done? can anyone link me to a proper howto?

Have you configured httpd.conf?

I think at a bare minimum you will need:
You will want to check apache docs though, as I don't use SSL myself...
