Thanks to this website, i was able to get Windows xp up and running again, so now i can log on to my ISP America Online from home again. However, i would like to do this from linux. Ive tried pengaol, but it disconnects right after connecting. can anyone help me figure out how to log on to America Online from linux (Slackware 8.1), or is this even possible?
I am going to go out on a limb here: pengaol probably has the ability to print verbose output to the terminal - useful for helping with problems
Try running (from a terminal) pengaol with the -v switch. If anything there looks ominous, then let us know.
