Anyone know why my browser opens when.....


RH9, Gnome, Opera

When i try to open up some folders like my home folder my browser opens up instead and nothing happens somehow my associations got screwed up, This reminds me of windows.

okie dokie - sounds like you've got file associations incorrectly set up, like you said. It should be changeable in gnome's control panel, although I can't say for sure, having never used gnome for any length of time. If you give more details, such as what browser this is opening up, then maybe we can help more. If it happens when opening folders, it could be that it's opening a new nautilus window whenever you open a folder, is that what you mean?
