Another KDE?

Well, KDE 4 would be coming out in beta, alpha, or whatever fairly soon, if it isn't already, right? So, my question is how I can add another option to the "session type" menu in login for another version of KDE? I'm using Kubuntu 6.06, and if all goes well, I'll be running KDE 3.5.5 a bit later tonight, but right now its still 3.5.2.

Sorry if this is a dumb question or in the wrong place. I wasn't sure whether to put it in Software or Distros-Ubuntu...
