Lightbulb All-In-Wonder 128 Pro Video Card & TV

If you have this card do not bother with XatiTV, Xawtv or MoTV.

AVview is the program you want.

I have fought with those three prior programs for over a year to try to get them working properly. The best I could do was to get nominal TV, but I could never get SCANTV to work. It even scans my channels...and does it better than I ever expected. The GUI interface(s) are very well thought out...they are much better than the other two programs.

I had to upgrade Tcl/Tk to version 8.4 but it was well worth the effort. For the first time now I have a TV program that almost rivals the Windows Version that comes with the card.

Here' is where you get it:

Now if I could just figure out how to schedule my security camera to start & finish I would be overjoyed. I am considering playing with cron about this.

Hmmm. I grabbed avview using urpmi, since I have an ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon, and fired it up...it put up a window labeled "AVview settings" and almost immediately overlaid that with a popup saying "It appears you have not run AVview 0.10.8 before. Please verify that all settings are correct." After I click the "OK" button on that window, avview shuts down, not giving me a chance to do a darned thing with the settings. This is more than a little frustrating.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
