Advice on Postfix-Mysql setup please
 

Hello to all,

I have been successfully setup Postfix with a simpel configerations. It routes mail to shell users and does SMTP Auth via saslauthd.

But I would like to change this. I want to setop Postifx so that it accepts mail for shell users or MySql virtual users. I would want my shell users to have POP/IMAP access while my Virtual users only have POP access, If possible, i'd like SASL to authenticate against saslauthd and then against Myql.

Is all this possible? The HOWTOs i've seen so far seem to offer a total replacement of the shell users. I've noticed something about replacing the traditional mailbox method with a maildir method. The mailbox method is what I want for my shell users while the maildir is what i want for my virtual users. Is all this possible? And what about the POP/IMAP access?
