acrobat reader for linux can' execute UTF-8 error


installed linux acrobat reader version 508 downloaded from adobe but after decompressing it and installing it using
# sh INSTALL

i intalled i into /usr/local/acrobat5

so i try to execute the shell script using this:
# sh /usr/local/acrobat5/bin/acroread
UTF-8 unsupported

how to fix this?
