Account/Password Settings
Hi,
We are in a process of securing our RedHat Linux Boxes.
We are almost done except for the few things. Could you guys atleast give us some hint as to how to go about the below settings??
1. Min password length should be 8 char -- This is done!!
2. Password should be combination of alphanumeric characters.
3. Password expiry in 90 days -- This is done!!
4. Password expiry warning before 7 days
5. Account lockout after 5 failed logins.
6. Account disable if inactive for 180 days
7. Logout idle UNIX session after 15 minutes--This is done.
8. Disable direct Root account --- This is done !!
Could you guys help us out ??
