fatherg, write access to NTFS partitions is highly experimental. It means it may destroy the files or the whole partition. When recompiling your kernel you have such an option, but don't check it unless you're a kernel developer (at least for now). The current situation is that the best idea is to have a FAT32 partition for that cases, so you can use from both systems.
