Question Access Permissions for Setting Extented Attributes (EAs)

Hello,

What permissions does a user require on a file to be able to add extended attributes (setfattr) to it? Also, what rights would he need to read them?

I cannot test it myself because I do not have a system with EA capability.

Thanks in advance
