About Google Chrome OS compiling

Hi everyone,
I just downloaded the source code of ChromeOS, its version is 1.0.154.53, I wanna compiling a new image.
Now I need your suggestions for compiling, you know, it's a tough work.

I have compiled the first builds of Chromium OS when it first came out (back in November 2009) and had to say it was a lot easier than it is now. If you want to know how to really build the Chromium source code thoroughly, the Developer Guide is a perfect thing to read.

Thanks onebuck. Well my Cr-48 has still been supported (and has gotten updates) since I first got it, but apparently they aren't giving out new ones.
