8 kb stacks

How do I enable an 8 kb stack instead of a 4 kb one?

Thank you for your answer.

Assuming you are talking about Linux 2.6.6: Disable the Use 4Kb for kernel stacks instead of 8Kb (CONFIG_4KSTACKS) option in your kernel configuration (it is located under Kernel hacking in menuconfig) and recompile your kernel.
