im running suse 9.1 and was wondering can you duel boot 2 different linux's on the same machine like you can do with windows...thanks

Yup, you can triple, quadruple and beyond.. however many you can fit on your drives.. ;)

I've seen some have Windows, Several Linux OS's, Solaris and BSD all on the same machines..

Installing two distributions in a row should be enough. Just remember, Windows demand to be the first OS installed.
