2.6 module architecture docs
 

Can anyone point me to some documentation or guide which explains the new kernel 2.6 module architecture? Can't seem to find anything on it.

What specifically are you looking for? If you ask a specific question here someone might be of help. I myself don't know of any particular sites that go over this in detail. You could always get some ideas from the kernel mailing lists at www.kernel.org

Oh, you know, general information. Like an explanation as to why I see .ko files and not .o files in there. I'm sure that's not the only difference, though.

Also, what's the deal with the new /udev directory?

Basically I just thought some sort of documentation specific to these changes would be easier to find.
