2.6.12 kernel compiled and working... finally!

Hi all.

I posted earlier about compiling my kernel 3 times and it would stick on udev or have trouble mounting the VFS.. I got past that (VFS prob was that i didn't have the right PCI drivers) and the 2.6 kernel boots almost perfectly.

However there's a small problem. I get this message:
Attached SCSI generic
sg0 at scsi0, channel0, id0, lun0, type0.

It sticks for exactly 2 minutes 14 seconds (I timed it) and then
continues booting. Does anyone know why this does this? Other than this there's nothing wrong. (I've learned how to compile kernels after 7 tries :))

Thanks,
CPUFreak91

what is in dmesg when it does that? And what do you need SCSI for exactly?

Never checked dmesg. I DON'T need SCSI. I don't get it. I removed SCSI from the kernel compilation config file and it still does that. :(
