2.6.1 kernel module-init-tools problem's

HI,
Just wondering whether anyone else has had these problems after compiling and installing 2.6.1.
depmod -V gives me: module-init-tools 0.9.14-3, and my system is fully updated.
And I still keep getting these error's when I do a generate-modprobe.conf>/etc/modprobe.conf:
modprobe: QM_MODULES: Function not implemented
then I get a bunch of Warning: not translating warning's.

Any suggestions or help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

try dont dont do
generate-modprobe.conf>/etc/modprobe.conf:

coz there is already generated modprobe.conf in /etc

i think you must edit it manually
