For those who don't visit the Website Questions and Suggestions forum, we have the guess for the millionth post contest going and being only 130 something posts away, there is still one time slot not taken for tonight in which we should hit the millionth post mark.
The 10pm to 11pm slot has been taken and with only about 20 more posts left, it looks as if moby is going to be our winner.. unless theres some kind of server crash..
Well I say a count listing of 1,000,044, so I geuss that we have passed the magic mile marker. And if Moby is the one who came up with the winning guess, I would like to offer my congradulations. And a big round of applause for the moderators and members of linuxquestions.org!
hey trickykid, I can't believe that you started a thread regarding a contest in the Linux-General forum. You know it's not a question and definetely not related to Linux, so it's more suitable in our General forum
You got too excited/involved to realise I guess. But being the mod here, do you think that you can move this thread
The contest is now over and we've easily surpassed the 1,000,000 mark. Thank you to everyone who took part. The next milestone contest will be <content censored>. So good luck to all!

Just pulling you leg trick. Cheers.
Moderators are not subjected to some of the rules of posting and I posted this in this forum cause of the traffic it draws to get members aware of the contest, etc. If we all subjected to the rules, I would have moved Jeremy's Merchandise thread a long time ago..
