Just finished setting up Gentoo and I noticed that some of the symbol keys on my keyboard are a little hokey. Ièm thinking I mustève misconfigured my XF86Config somehow. Anyone have any idea what I should be looking for to fix thisÉ It makes it very difficult to use the command line!!

Could it be that your keyboard is set up for a different language?

Itès possible. It was set to Canadian, however I think changing it to US should resolve the problem. However, Mozillaès compiling right now so I canèt test it just yet...

When you set the keyboard to Canadian it gives you the french layout you want the us keyboard.
