'dhcpcd wlan0' in rc.local hangs machine at boot: workaround?
Hi,
I have a misconfigured wlan0 device, and the 'dhcpcd wlan0' command in rc.local hangs the machine at boot. How can I boot the machine to amend/bypass rc.local? I don't have a floppy drive... |
When you are still in LILO, select the kernel you want to boot from, then on the LILO command line on the bottom of the screen add either the number 1 or the word single after the kernel name. That will boot you into single mode, which should avoid most of the startup scripts.

Thanks Hangdog, I'll try this later.
It works a treat, thanks for this. |
