I'm trying to resolve a few issues with World of Warcraft under Wine 0.9.34. The game runs fine (smooth graphics, nice FPS, etc) except that every 30 secs or so when I click a button on the action bar it gets ignored. Playing around a bit I found that the tool-tips sometimes do not render right away and during this time the mouse clicks do not register. Also when I went to exit the game by pressing ESC to bring up the menu, I found that those buttons weren't responsive until the mouse over effect for them rendered. It doesn't seem to be a draw speed issue, just a long delay between the time your mouse runs over an object and the time that it actually does it (ie when it does decide to draw the object it does so fast enough).

Anyone else have similar issues? A workaround/fix?

Have you tried Cedega? Flawless. Only once a problem installing a recent patch (total freeze), but patch installed fine with Wine and WoW rocked on. BTW, using 2GHz AMD, 1GB (single) & on-board 6150, no RAID.

I have tried Cedega and it works but it tends to have annoying FPS issues. In Wine I get better performance. Speaking of Wine, I seem to have resolved the above mentioned issues by adding this line to my Config.wtf file:
I still use Cedega for other games, but WoW works better in Wine (at least for me).
