Wine, Cedega, Wine and Maple Story...getting close
I have managed to install MapleStory with Cedega and, after tweaking a couple settings can run it in wine, but only to the point where you login. As soon as I hit login, it freezes. However, i cannot run it in Cedega, for as soon as I start it it says

then begins to debug. Can people please help me with this so I can get MapleStory working!
If I dont run Cedega as root, I get a window with MapleStory on the top, but after a few seconds this exits. This is the output I get when I input "cedega MapleStory.exe":

hmmm, I run with wine from winehq repos (I'm a ubuntu-user)
Having gameguard problems, it installs just fine and everything, but get gameguard error 114
Originally posted by teebones the cvs version of cedega is a tweaked and tuned version of the winehq cvs version. And transgaming has put some extra's in it, for gaming purposes.
But, the two versions are getting very close to one another! so yes, one could say the versions are the same (90%)
What have they done extra exactly to help gaming?
Isn't cedega-cvs dx8 and winhq-cvs dx9? or am I wrong?
