(Wine 0.9.20) No sound - incorrect sound card in winecfg

Hello,

I'm using Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake 32-bit edition. I installed Wine 9.06 from the debian package and applied the necessary nvidia patch for WoW to work properly.

Everything in the game other than sound works great. I'm quite impressed.

However, I've been having trouble getting Wine to output any sound whatsoever. When I run winecfg I get:
Code:

fixme:midi:OSS_MidiInit Synthesizer support MIDI in. Not supported yet (please report)
And when I select Audio inside winecfg I get:
Code:

fixme:jack:JACK_drvLoad error loading the jack library libjack.so, please install this library to use jack
Inside the Driver selection: I have OSS selected. When I expand Wave In Devices it displays:
Code:

Realtek ALC850 rev 0
SigmaTel STAC97808,11

Now the problem is, I assume, that the card I want to us is my Soundblaster, and not either of these (I have onboard sound - that's what I guess these might be).

From Gnome, the card I want to use is SBLive 51.

"alsamixer -c1" gives the card I want to use.
"alsamixer -c0" gives the Realtek card I do not want to use.

Is Wine using c0 as the default card? If so, how can I change this?

Thanks in advance.

I apologize for a worthless thread, But I resolved my issue.

I had to go to my WTF/Config.wtf file, and change my SoundOutputSystem to 2.

Apparently 2 translates to ALSA, which my card is using.

Thanks!
