Check out the wine application database:

http://appdb.winehq.com/

And the winex game search engine.

http://www.transgaming.com/searchgame.php

Quake 1 & 2 have linux versions. I think better then the windows one, because they released the code and people built their games around it.
sims has a linux version by transgaming, UT has a linux versions I think.

I think you can run almost all of those games on Linux using wine or winex.

If you would like more games, enemy territory which is a multiplayer game is available in a linux version as well, and it's free.

quake 1 and 2 are natively ported, and so is ut. warcraft 2 is a maybe matter. there was this project called freecraft that was an engine for using the warcraft files on linux, but it was shut down by blizzard. you might be able to find a tarball or package somewhere on the net, though.
