Halo
Halo 2
Rise of nations
Trackmania (original, Sunrise, Sunrise extreme, and Nations) <----ESPECIALLY THESE GAMES!
Need for speed (pick any version)
Age of empires (plus expansions)
Any REASONABLE nominal cost is fine if we can get it going!
i'm happy with q3 and cod. it took my newbie butt 3 days (3 kids so a bit of time here and there in between daddy do's and diapers) to set up q3 and now cod is my target. i've dumped windows at home but have to keep it at work. either or, i've learned alot in those 3 days.
Is anybody going to take initiative on this, or just post wishes? over the weekend I'm going to see if I can work up enough courage to talk to ZUN about ditching DirectX, although there's a snowball's chance in hell of that happening, I at least want him to know that he has at least 1 fan that runs Linux...
Ultima Online! UO was a project years back but it never seemed to make it, I've tried WINE, but it slows UO down so much it's unplayable. Ran fine under windows, my computer is plenty fast for the 2d client, miss it so much that I'm actually considering dual booting even after all the problems I've had with Microsoft's BS.
This thread is for letting vendors know that there is interest in porting one of their games to Linux. Let us know what games you would like to see ported and why. Details such as how much you would be willing to pay may be helpful as well. If there is enough interest for certain games I will even contact the vendor myself.

If you could help me talk to ZUN about attempting to use OGL and SDL in his next game I'd be ecstatic! He's a Japanese independent game programmer, but he's been using DirectX for years now...

I am clearly older than the rest of the posting folks. I would love to see a good hearts game for Linux. Seriously - Frozen Bubble is the favorite game (saw that in some report) so its a boredom game that we need. I would love to see something in a good Hearts Game.
Why is it that one can never find a linux based game for sale in our favorite computer stores? Is there some kind of pressure against that being generated by The Evil Empire?
