I'd like to see both Prey and ET:Quake Wars ported to Linux... (sorry if these were already mentioned)
Both games run on openGL so although i'm no programer I don't think the work to port these games would be as involved as porting somthing that was designed for DirectX. Although it depends on how many Windows APIs are utilized in the game, openGL or not.
I'm hoping Neverwinter Nights II will also run on Linux
Day Of Defeat: Source. Possibly other games, but thats what I play these days. If that was on linux I could ditch windows on my main computer. I only use it for that purpose.

I don't get what people like so much about Source - from what I understand it's the same game, just $40 more expensive. . .
I got it, and CS:S with HL2 in a pack. Didn't cost me any more than the plain HL2. I had never played DOD, so I can't comment, I only know DOD:S and I love it.

That's what I mean - I got regular CS, regular DOD, regular Half-Life, Blue Shift, and Team Fortress all in a pack for like $5 whereas HL2's like $40 and if you want it with the other games/add-ons it's more like $60.
Yeah, but I bought HL2 and it came with the Source games. I didn't buy them to play, I wanted to play HL2. If you bought the original HL with all those extras back when HL was new, it would have been expensive too...
Games i'd like to see or gain the ability to use again (since I own the discs):
MechWarrior 4: Vengeance
Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Saga
Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace
Star Wars - Force Commander
Star Wars - Droidworks
Star Wars - X-Wing Alliance
Star Trek - 25th Anniversary + others
Unreal Tournament G.O.T.Y. + custom skins and sounds
Unreal Tournament 2003 + customisations (won't run without a clean install + update on XP.)
Black & White + expansions
American McGee's Alice
Baldur's Gate II - Shadows of Amn
Banzai Bug
Age of Wonders
Populous - The Beginning
Star Command - Revolution
Shattered Steel
Terminal Velocity
Gearworks
Earthworm Jim I + II
Slamscape
Duke Nukem 3D - all series
Carmageddon
Seriously? yes. because the most annoying thing I had to do when I had to forcefully switch from Windows 98 to XP Pro I also had to give up on expecting these to run properly (or at all) on Windows XP, so I don't even remotely expect them to run on Linux. yet =P
Unreal Tournament works on Windows, have heard of Linux support but the last time I tried it all I got was the splash loader screen stuck on my desktop until I rebooted. In other words nothing.
Switching OS is one sure way to break a heavy gaming habit.
The Unreal series of games are all playable in Linux, just find the installers for Unreal (original) and Unreal Tournament (UT99) (www.liflg.org). UT2K3 comes with an installer in the last CD (CD 3 I think), American McGee's Alice runs fine through Wine/Cedega and you could use DosBox to run your favorite DOS based games (like Duke Nukem 3D).
the only game i have ever got into is "age of empires" conquerors...
being a microsoft game, i dont play it but have done once or twice on my sons pc...
now if anyone has ported it then plz give me a copy...otherwise i just wont play it...
