Is there anywhere I should look to find a free WinX download. I don't want to pay for it on WinX.com and even if I did I don't have a credit card.

You can download the CVS version for free. Anything else is not strictly legal.

I'd like to see some MMORPGs ported to Linux!
I'm not sure about the feasability of this though, surely such software has a complex network element to it.
I'd expect to pay the same price as the Windows version, of course!

I thought I'd post a list of games that HAVE a native linux version, some of them were even requested, lol. Here are the ones I know of
Simcity 3000
Railroad Tycoon 2
Soldier of Fortune
Myth 2: Soulbringer
Heroes of Might & Magic 3
Doom, Quake 1,2 , Quake 3 Arena
Unreal Tournament
Unreal Tournament 2003
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Alpha Centauri & Alien Crossfire (for those CIV type fans)
Uplink
Heavy Gear 2
And the game I'd like to see ported would be the original first DOS game called
Settlers
I can get it to run in bochs, but because of lacking vbe support only in 320x200, ugh
cheers

The problem is that all those don't emulate a full VESA compliant video card (afaik).
Hence resolutions such as 640x480 & higher are not supported.
I even played it on the UAE, but that limits the resolution as well.
Thanks though

You do have a vesafb console, right? (set at a resolution higher than 320?)
