Warcraft III RoC/FT Unit sound issues


hi,

I got Warcraft III FT to work yesterday but Im having some issues with the unit response sounds. When I select a unit or building they dont make any sound. Other sounds work fine, cutting lumber, placing buildings and the anouncements etc.

The strange thing is selecting a building gave me some sound before I started fiddling with the ingame option. I figured that the number of channels was limited so I disabled music and ambiant sounds. Then the buildings stopped making sounds aswell even when I set all the options back to their defaults.

btw anyone know how to get the cursor working, I keep getting that strange crosshair now and only the top works to select things.
