Wanted: Clone of Risk, the Board Game

Hi. I've searched around--linuxgames, tuxgames, and linux.org's games section--and found a few clones of the board game Risk, but nothing that preserves the original rules and layout of Risk. Can anyone point me to a clone they've seen or played?

I'd like something that's for 1 player and allows multiple (up to 6 or so) computer opponents with decent AI. I'm not looking for something too complex that allows LAN or online play, though it'd be nice. Just 1P fun.

I've seen lots of stuff similar to Risk with all kinds of modes, but nothing that's a direct ripoff of Risk. I just need a Risk fix to pass the time--you know, something with the original region names and the cards and simulated dice rolls to make me feel like a kid in the neighborhood Risk owner's basement all over again. Thanks.

I don't think thats possible as it would trample on the original owners copyright. It would be illegal to make such a game.

The clones you've seen are probably as close as people are willing to go, so they don't get sued by Hasbro.

Risk rocks! You might want to try TEG, its a risk client and server to play over the net.

Try Ksirk

Hello,

You can try KsirK:
KsirK at KDE-Apps
KsirK hosting site

The "AI" is not so "I" for the moment but it is an opponent... The spirit of Risk is there I feel even if all rules are not implemented (no cards for example).
